Sunday - Funny ol' Life

OMG..
Took the Mini-People to the Dams, hoping to see the water cascading over the top after the recent rain..

And instead found the water levels LOWER than I've seen them for years.You can even walk on the river bed just below the 2nd dam.

Unbelieveable.

Took some great pics at the top dam where we had a little walk in the wind!
Then back to the 'Centre' so the boys could buy 'tat' and play at the play area.
Was sat watching them play when Mr. Speedy came up to me..

With an icecream that he'd bought me..

A shed load of little things have happened today that have made me SO proud of my children, and of the people into whom they are developing..

Poignant moments too though.. 'Cos I don't get to see a great deal of it.

..and that is MY loss
