Sunday - :-D

I love my children. The unconditional love that you share is just incredible. And it is the little things that bring it home so powerfully. This morning, the FIRST thing that Mr Speedy and Princess did when they got up - was come to give me a hug.
What a way to start the day!!

..and what a day. Sunny but not too hot, a cooling breeze, and the opportunity to be outside and just go with the flow..
So that is what we did.
First at the park..
..then at the 'Dams'.
What a superb day. Relaxing - effectively doing whatever the kids wanted to: playing games; running around; picnicing at the foot of one of the dams..
The water levels are quite low at the moment, so you can see things that are normally hidden.. L'il Prof was captivated by the water erosion of the rocks we could see below one bridge - especially as the last time we were here they were covered by what looked like a slow moving gentle river.
Now what you could see was a rugged, jagged rockscape with noisy waterfalls and deep rockpools.
The wonder of nature eh..?! I'll try and post a picture if I can work out how to!

Calm..
Gentle..
Relaxed..
Happy..
Fun..
..that was this weekend!!

A happy Leon is driving home tonight with something L'il Prof said while we were walking down from the top of the dam..
